Five star luxury, cocktails in Raffles, sunbathing on glorious beaches and shopping till we drop...it's a hard life in Singapore, ha!ha!
Swapping hostels for home comfort we were extremely grateful (and forever will be) to Pam and Paul - friends of Sharon's, who put us up for a fantastic 4 nights. Taking us around the sights we got to see Santosa Island, China Town, Clarke Quay, East Coast Park (by bike!), the merlions et al, and were introduced to Singapore style dining (at the Hokka centres dotted across the city). We also had a girly night out starting with cocktails at Raffles, drinks in the New Asia Bar overlooking the entire city, and dancing at Chimes. Paul and Pam's wee boys - Ethan and Josh - we're adorable too, keeping us entertained morning and night. I even ended up fully clothed in the pool following one waterfight - and that was on Day 1!
It was a fantastic four days we'll never forget!
