Hoppy-thai-hop

We're still on the hop around the Islands, taking in the beaches, the Thai culture and the irish pubs!

We had five nights in Koh Samui, sandwiched between the two resorts of Chaweng and Lamai. Chaweng was tres busy and Tropical Murphy's Irish bar caught our eye - as did the roast dinners ...Yum yum! Well i can't eat noodles all the time, he! After buckets of samsung for dessert, the Green Mango strip of bars was certainly entertaining.

Our beach (Silver Sands) was nice and quiet, giving us plenty time to soak up the sun (me from the comfort of a palm's shade) and relax. Sharon and i also visited the local attraction of the Grandmother and Grandfather Rock formations. Hmmmm, i'll let you see the pics and judge for yourself but they were certainly interesting.

And now we've arrived in Krabi after an interesting bus/boat and mini bus adventure. But without the white sand beaches and clear blue waters we'd hoped for we've decided to head off to the west islands asap, starting with Ko Lanta tomorrow!
