Wow. The four weeks in Thailand have flown by.
Ko Phi Phi was fantastic, come rain and shine - and we got alot of the former. We luckly managed to hire a longtail boat to take us to Ko Phi Phi Ley on the sunniest day - which was absolutely stunning. Jumping off the side of the tailboat into the cool lagoons, hopping onto white sand beaches, catching our dropping jaws as we took in the rocks and caves. Brilliant. And of course we had to visit THE BEACH - Maya Bay. We also took an energetic walk up the steep steps to the viewpoint on Koh Phi Phi Don, which i was practically crawling up by the end. There's nothing like a good climb (and view) to leave you breathless!
And now we're spending our last days in Phuket - where the sun has rejoined us. This place is positively electrifying with neon bars, market stalls, colourful tuk tuks and flamboyant lady boys galore! And what better way to capture the essence of Thailand on our last night then by watching these 'entertainers' in all their feathered glory at Simons Cabaret - an all singing, all dancing, all together musical night...with Tina Turner stealing the show.
